Sunset Royal Hotel Cancun

The beachfront location was a major highlight, with ample seating and a great view. The staff were friendly and provided great service. the facilities in the room were good.

There were a few negatives. the hard selling concierge was a bit pushy.

The facilities are not as modern

We loved everything. The super friendly staff and always at the service. The very good facilities. Super comfortable room. They made us a room upgrade at no cost for the whole stay

The restaurant buffet has little variety of food.

The hotel is located right on the beach, providing guests with easy access to the beautiful shoreline. Additionally, it is very close to the beach, allowing guests to enjoy the sandy shores just steps away from their rooms. The beach service provided by the hotel is excellent, ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

One negative aspect of the hotel is that it is immediately next to a busy and loud restaurant in the courtyard, which may result in noise disturbances for some guests.

From the friendly and helpful front desk staff to the efficient and charming restaurant servers, we were thoroughly impressed with their service. The cleanliness of the hotel was also great, with the entire resort being kept tidy and well-maintained. the location of the hotel was fantastic, with it being just a short walk to bars and clubs, as well as being very close to the beautiful and quiet beach.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The attention of the staff, in our case, was very attentive, and they even gave us a free room upgrade. In general everything was very good.

room service schedule, we arrived one day late from a tour (11 pm), since the room service is until 10:30 and restaurants were already closed, we could not eat almost anything

breakfast was excellent, pool and beach facilities were welcoming, service of the hotel staff was great. the Check In and Check Out were very quick. good atmosphere in the lobby of the hotel, in the evenings they offer a very good musical show. we arrived we were attended by a girl (her name is Diana) who was very kind and explained to us in detail all the facilities of the hotel and schedules of each one. staff in charge of animating the beach and pool is very fun and friendly, they have very nice and family activities. In the lobby there is a bar that serves drinks and beverages to guests, seemed very good and if you ask for a cocktail that the waiter does not know he will gladly ask you to describe it and prepare it with great dedication. snack food at the pool was delicious, much better than it usually is elsewhere, includes dishes prepared in the kitchen such as quesadillas, guacamole, salads, roast chicken, etc.

airport pick-up service, hotel offers (you have to pay extra for it), was not as the hotel had said. Even though they had my details on a list they insisted on charging my credit card and getting full details from it. instructions from the hotel were to pay only at the hotel but at the airport the guy from Premier Transportation insisted that we pay him at the airport and through the phone card charge. very confusing and suspicious situation. I recommend taking another service. Instead, transportation from the hotel to the airport was very good, hotel calls a local Cancun taxi, good service.

The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from a stunning beach where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The proximity to the beach allows for easy access and provides beautiful views from some of the rooms. there are several facilities available such as boat tours for those who want to explore the surrounding area.

The noise from the busy and loud restaurant located in the courtyard can be quite disruptive to guests looking for a peaceful stay.

The outdoor bar services open very late and close very early, very slow the bar service on the beach has little staff. The hotel is small.

staff is absolutely top class! whether on the beach, in the restaurants or at the reception, everyone was exceptionally nice and courteous. the beach is fantastic, even if there are not many shady places and you have to be a "member" to get an extra parasol.

sunset royal is one of the cheapest all-inclusive hotels in the zona hotelera, is also reflected in the furnishings. building and concept may have been up to date 20 years ago, it is not anymore. rooms as well as the restaurants could use a renovation. concerning the food, it is a pity that they try to offer european cuisine (this is unfortunately not very successful) because the mexican dishes which you can order as snacks are absolutely great.

Great beach, amazing food, and accommodating staff. The highlight of my stay was the VIP service provided by Alberto Rodriguez. He were really nice too fulfill all our wishes. I highly recommend this resort.

The hotel offers exclusive amenities that fulfilled our luxurious needs. the service was impeccable and the Spa centre was exceptional. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. the beach access was convenient and the garden area was well-kept.

the entertainment options were limited.
